Healthy Male Prisoners
Mengage offers two Healthy Male Prisoners training courses on men’s health; one for HMP staff and one for prisoners. The HMP course has been successfully piloted in a UK prison environment working with both staff and prisoners. The prisoners course is particularly suitable for prisoners interested in becoming health trainers.
The courses meets the requirement indicators of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons document: EXPECTATIONS, April 2012.
Section 2. 36. Health Services. All prisoners receive information about health promotion and the control of communicable diseases.
Section 3. 8. Physical education and healthy living. Prisoners understand the importance of healthy living and personal fitness.
